Welcome in 2023! Birthdays galore!

 Welcome 2023!

JANUARY - The birthday month...

Let's start off with this little cutie pie who is the spittin image of his dad at this age!!!

Amy's trip to Mexico

Tim caught Covid on New Year's Eve!

It was his first time getting it...

He was home for 5 days, then out with a mask.

He felt well, but then had a little relapse and was down again.

No one else got it...this time!

January is a big birthday month at our house and we started off with this gal turning 23!

In the morning, we had an early breakfast in bed.

At night...

She chose to take the family, and her two lifelong friends from childhood out to a new Japanese restaurant located near Thanksgiving Point

It was opening week and therefore we had a long wait,

which worked out perfectly - Tim had time to join us after he got off work!

After dinner, we headed to the house for some birthday cake...

Make a wish!

Got to attend the temple and do some sealings...

The cousins got together for some Japanese Ramen at Asa Ramen...

Eric took the birthday bunch out for a fun dinner at Olive Garden!

What a spectacular evening!

We decided to get a year pass at the Legacy center to help us with our exercise goals...

Tim watched the kids one night and had so much fun!

Tim helps with Emergency Preparedness on the High Council and we learned about freeze drying food at the Stake networking fair...

The Choate kids came for Martin Luther King Day

We watched Selma (actually, LaNae ended up being the only one who watched it), and then we went swimming at the Legacy Center to get some exercise...

Then to Arctic Circle for lunch!

Next, it was Luke' birthday

He turned 21!

We got him several series of progressively difficult puzzles and he successfully completed each one!

For Luke's birthday, we decided to head to the Butterfly Biosphere.

It was such a success for Luke last year on his birthday...

Hardly anyone was there on a Monday night, so is was a success again this year!

I think he really had a good time!

Our youngest is 21!
How did that happen?

We loved this little "Roach Retirement Home"

We sang "Happy birthday" and had cake on Sunday with the Choate's

Luke loved showing off his "Magic straws"

For SNAP (Special Needs Activity Program), they had a "Magic Night"

And played some games...

We love our Luke and are grateful for him!!!

Luke sang "The Star Spangled Banner" for the ATEC talent show and he really nailed it!

Great job!!!

Our dishwasher decided to give out and we got a new one...

A KitchenAid

We had our 2023 Stake Women's Conference...
There were fantastic speakers, beautiful music, a neat service project, eight workshops to choose from and a luncheon afterwards.  We had a great turnout this year-hooray!!!!

Then, it was LaNae's turn for a birthday celebration...

Tim got me beautiful flowers and we went out to dinner at Edna's Market Grill

I got the salmon and Tim got the Chicken Pot Pie, and we split it.  It was delicious!

This year at work, they decided to do a big birthday luncheon for all employees with birthdays for that month to eat with the Mayor, City Administrator, Assistant City Administrator, etc.
It was very yummy and so fun to visit with them!

Was very blessed to get lots of cards, gifts and birthday wishes...

And my amazing kids made a yummy Mexican dinner-
so, so incredibly good!

It was a great birthday!!!
