Stout Thanksgiving 2019...

We gathered to celebrate our many blessings.
At the top of the list are these people right here...!!!

We got a call on Thanksgiving day from this girl on the right who is serving in St. Petersburg, Russia...

It was the BEST to get to talk with her!!!

We made the centerpiece using flowers that Tim got LaNae for our 29th day-we-met each other anniversary...

This year we tried a new recipe for making rolls shaped like turkeys.  They were a bit hit!

We started the holiday by attending an extended Stout family Thanksgiving dinner put on by Rick and Shauna.  So fun to see all our cousins...

Then Leland took us out to show us the Christmas lights he installed in the van for dates.
Kind of sketching :), but hilarious just the same!!!

The next day we gathered with just our kids and grandkids...

Adorable-each one!!!

After dinner, Uncle brian took the kids out to build a snowman, and we enjoyed watching old home videos which are uploaded on the video section of this blog.  So fun to reminisce!

Luke doesn't care much for Thanksgiving type turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, etc...so we made him some french fries...

Tim picked up Uncle David to come hang out with us for the weekend and we watched the Mandalorian and Sound of Music.

It was awesome to be together and one of the best Thanksgivings ever!

Lincoln's birthday, Play dough with grandkids, Christmas decorations, Brian's birthday...

Lincoln tuned three.  LaNae took the kids to the fabric store and they each picked out fabric for a quilt.  Lincoln's was finished just in time for his birthday.  He chose a car-patterned flannel-nice and cozy!!!

May asked about the heart on the Raggedy Ann dolls.  Grandma Kay Stout always put an "I LOVE YOU" on her dolls. It's a sweet reminder, so LaNae put an "I LOVE YOU" on the quilt...

Lincoln also got a remote control car...

He has the sweetest disposition and is a big helper.  LOVE HIM!!!

We adore our grandkids-they are amazing, every one!!!

Luke

LaNae went to Luke's class to help out with the Thanksgiving Feast.  We brought cranberry sauce. Luke got to take off from school early-HAPPY DAYS!!!

Wesley is four months already and is full of smiles-so cute!!!

Next, we got to celebrate Brian's birthday...

There may have been a trick candle, or two...

But Luke helped him finally get them all blown out!

We did a bit of weeding on Grandma's stuffed animals this year.  There are so many and we have several of her Raggedy Ann's which are beloved heirlooms, so we want to keep them.  May and Lincoln took several bears and snowmen and the cow and polar bear went to Rachel...

It's fun to see the next generation enjoying and Loving Grandma Kay's Raggedy Ann dolls so much!

When the kids come over, they often love to make play dough and cut them out with cookie cutters...

We also celebrated 29 years since the day we met.  We met at a Thanksgiving dinner, got engaged two months later, and the rest is history!  I've been pondering our happenings of the last decade since we are about to start a new one.  So many many blessings!!!

The grandkids love bananas!
