Trip to Bear Lake!

We decided to do our Labor Day road trip the week after Labor Day this year...

It was a very good choice this time!
There were smaller crowds at Bear Lake and the weather was awesome!

We found an Airbnb which turned out to be a lodge tucked away in a quaint little town called "Garden City."  In the morning, we took a long walk outside to explore our new surroundings...

We found a place that had the famous raspberry shakes we heard were so good...
They also had other flavors, so some of us ordered raspberry and others ordered Oreo...

We brought a lot of blow up toys to the lake...

This was such a fun trip for Luke!  He LOVED the water and did especially well on this trip...

Amy packed a delicious healthy lunch of whole grain bread and Pepper Jack cheese, Hummus and cut carrots, celery, cucumbers and peppers, blue corn chips and yummy salsa.
It was sooooo goooood! Thank you, Amy!!!

Tim brought the drone that takes pictures from above and we got some great footage of the blue lake.

Look for the bear-necessities!

We found the perfect spot!

At the lodge we listened to "Shivers in the Night" from the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival-Scary!

We were a bit worried about coronavirus, so on Friday night we decided to dine outside rather than inside the crowded restaurant in Logan.  We ordered Chicago pizza-yum!

The next morning...

We found a rustic diner for breakfast and played a game of "Memes" while we waited for our orders to arrive...

This is where Grandpa and Grandma Petersen were married in Logan...

Fun with the drone...

The lake was such a breathtaking blue.  We will be coming back-Luke loved every minute!

Fun to spend time with family!

Wesley was the star of the show!

This road went right out into the lake...

Getting ready to go!

We will take these kids when they get a bit bigger-missed them!!!
