Visiting Grandma Shaffer (104 years old)! on her way back to Boise, Carving pumpkins, Fall Canyon Drives!

Grandma Shaffer!

We were privileged to see Grandma Shaffer again on her drive back to Boise

She has such a great perspective on life!

Love her much!!!

We did some pumpkin carving over the weekend

In honor of 2020!

We have also enjoyed some fun drives up to American Fork Canyon
This is Luke just above Tibble Fork

We had a bit of unexpected adversity in the extended family and moved Amy back home for the time being.  She is a light and I love having her back!  A family with a little 3 year old special needs girl hired Amy do help for the weekend.  The little girl is absolutely adorable with tiny little glasses and curly pig tails.

Getting to know Blake better...

He made a Kermit the Frog 2020 pumpkin and Amy make a little doll house with a baby pumpkin inside.

Eric let us take his convertible for a drive up the canyon

Grandma Shaffer gave Amy the kimono she got years ago in Japan.  The family joke is when Grandma Shaffer went to Japan, she had the darnedest time saying "Thank you" in Japanese-"Domo-Arigato."  Instead, she would accidentally say, "Buno Armigati" so when Amy was thanking her for the kimono, she winked and said, "Buno-Armigati." Ha-ha!
