Easter 2016

It was a big week!

The daffodils came out and we picked a big bouquet for the kitchen table.

The doorbell rang and this box was on the porch...

"I do-nut" want to go to prom with anyone but you.

Amy got asked to PROM!!!

And THIS is how she answered...

Donut holes...

Ha!

Sad news- Road Island Red chicken died.
Looks like there was a struggle and I think the gray cat that has been getting into the chicken cages for some time finally got it :(
Sad!

Uncle Dave and Aunt Susan came from Boise and we had them over for dinner.  We had a nice visit and afterwards went to Salem High School for Paris Evan's ballroom dance concert.
It was phenomenal!!!

Jaxon played the part of Timon in his school play, "Lion King Jr."
The play was amazing!  Five African languages were used in the music.  The costumes, scenery, actors, were a treat.  Jaxon absolutely stole the show with his unmatched wit and humor.  Everyone was laughing hysterically.  His singing was broadway worthy!
So very very proud of him!!!

Proud to be related to the star of the show!!!

On Saturday, we went to Arnoldsen's for a fun Easter Egg Hunt!

Wendy has not been feeling well for the past several months.

Rick made this Totoro for Amber years ago.  So fun to see his talents!

Luke thought the baby chicks were pretty cute!

He's cautious around animals, but is somewhat used to chickens since we have some.

It was fun to get together with all the cousins!
It was fun to catch up with the family!

Amy and I went to Women's Conference and then out to eat at Paradise Bakery afterwards.
It is over by Olive Garden.  Our first time there and a definite keeper.
The atmosphere was fun and the food was delicious!!!

We decided to have our Family Easter Celebration next week because Brian is coming home for General Conference.  I was grateful to hear that Megan and Dan had him over for dinner and dying eggs!
Hooray for having family at BYU-I!!!

Hudson is walking all over the place.  He started walking at seven months!

Brian, Dan, Hudson and Megan

We had David over for Easter lunch and then played the Game of Life and Phase 10 after dinner.

Rick, Kelsee, and May Kelly came over for Easter dinner.

They plan on coming next week too when Brian comes down.

May Kelly makes a cute Easter bunny!!!
