Choate kids and grandkids came over, Brian's new job, Luke goes to Halloween party, Getting ready for Gingerbread House Decorating Party...
Brian got an offer from Deloitte in Seattle and they flew him to their office on Friday. Chloe is so excited because her family lived in Washington for 12 years and loved it. The job starts after he graduates from BYU in April. Although it will be tough so see them go, we are thrilled with this new opportunity for them and with Boise (and Grandma Shaffer) almost half way, I see road trips to Seattle in our future!
Luke went to a Halloween Party at SNAP. it was a carnival with a "Go Fish" game, ring toss, face painting, picture coloring, cake walk, and more. He loved it!
Started working this week on making 36 gingerbread houses for our party in December. We are switching the date to December 7th this year so more family can hopefully come. Can't wait! Here is the original recipe Grandma kay stout used for years. I still use it and think of her while I bake.
She was amazing, so grateful for her example!!!
