Grandkids, Gardening, Hike the Y on the 4th of July, Choate Reunion, Stewart Falls
2023 Choate Family Reunion Picture
May made a list of some things she wanted to do for her birthday
She asked Amy to do her hair and nails and to take her shopping
She practices her gymnastics often and is getting so good!
Lincoln is a good little jumper too!
We got up bright and early on the 4th of July to hike the Y
I ran into my former Credit Union supervisor, Kathleen, where I worked for two years during my BYU days. It's been a long time, and was fun to reconnect with her.
We agreed to meet at the top of the Y again next year!
The 6 am balloons are breathtaking!
Brian and Chloe came for the 4th of July celebration
Our nieces and nephews came for a 4th of July BBQ and Tim made up a fun treasure hunt.
This year's 4th of July desserts
At 10 pm, we drove to the Thanksgiving Point area and watched the city's fireworks show
Road trip to Oklahoma for the reunion
We stayed in a hotel in Oklahoma City
The family reunion in Oklahoma this year was amazing.
Carol and Jason were in charge.
We wore the kids out every day with all of the fun activities.
Lots of fun visiting time
And cuddling babies time
Luci Jo turned 13!
We sang the Choate birthday song to her (of course)!
Today is a birthday, I wonder for who?
It might be for someone who is right in this room,
So look all around you for somebody who
Is smiling and happy, my goodness it's YOU!
Sunday church in the Seminole Ward
Night time slushy runs
Horseback riding at the ranch
This year, Leland made us the funnest escape room!
The kids loved it!
These two started it all!
Driving to the ranch
We all loved the roller skating activity and Luke really showed off his skating skills!
Buffalo at the hotel
Hotel lobby cowboy statue
Girl's night out
Arrowheads
We have six adorable, fun, bright grandkids!
We love taking Luke on long walks at the Murdoch Trail.
The sunsets are especially beautiful in the cool evening hours.
Our awesome neighbors had an abundance of apricots this year and they gave us some,
so we made fruit leather.
We love seeing the grandkids any time we can!
We went to ERic's chiropractic clinic to see the new remodel. It looks awesome!
We decided to get some 32 inch modular garden containers and it really was just the thing to get the garden growing. For the first time ever, we had as much zucchini as we could eat ourselves, and we were able to give away quite a bit too, which was perfect!
Luke especially loves the summers when he can go to the outdoor pool that has the diving board, and he can stay home a bunch too ( his favorite thing).
We are pretty smitten by this little guy!
For Tim's birthday, we hiked Stewart Falls
We took Luke roller blading along the Murdoch Trail
Such gorgeous sunsets!
We celebrated Wesley's birthday
The day we got back from Oklahoma, my dear friend, Nori
passed away. She taught me so much about giving love and service.
I will miss her very much!
This was the BEST year ever for zucchini
Herre is a wonderful recipe to use it up!
