Independence Day, Family Reunion, Trip to California...

Independence Day Celebration, Family Reunion, a bunch of birthdays, Trip to California...

Tim spent the last day of the Waterford Singapore trip at Universal Studios

They were delayed a bit on the trip home, and by the time Tim saw each of the students safely off, it was about 10:30 pm.  M and L had made him an amazing WELCOME HOME sign...

It was neatly hung on the garage door...

The next morning was church and then dinner.

We talked about options to celebrate Independence Day and settled on renting a 12 passenger van, driving to Bear Lake with the family for some waverunner fun.

Fortunately, a van was available and a waverunner!

If you rent a waverunner, you are allowed to use a nice beach and life jackets...

The water at Bear Lake is a gorgeous blue!

Luke and Amy

Luke had been dying to go on a trip, so this was just the thing!

It was a quick trip because Leland had to be back to the Salt Lake airport by 5:00 pm for his flight to Washington state.  We were so glad that he got to go with us to the lake!

Tim drove and the rest of us talked and played games, and of course ...

ROAD TRIP MUSIC!

The little ones loved playing in the sand

Excavators!

After an afternoon of beach time fun, we headed over to Zippz for dinner

and made it to the airport just in time!

Back at the house, time distributed souvenirs from his Singapore trip

C is a cuddler :)

Then we headed over to the sand pit lookout location with all the other Cedar Hollow neighbors...

It's a perfect spot for watching fireworks!

You can see them going off all over the valley

Breathtaking!

M and L had a little sleepover
