2019 Special Needs Prom
This year's Special Needs Mutual Prom was located in a very fancy spot. Unfortunately Luke was in a yelling mood, so I decided to take him to the mall to get a bow tie for his school's prom coming up.
My brother, Jim, his wife Angie and their daughter Aly came to Utah to take Aly to the MTC. She was called to serve in the Kennewick, Washington Mission. Eric and Mindy's family came over to see them. Eric is a chiropractor and so he adjusted Angie and Aly while they were here. Nice to have a chiropractor in the family!
Eric also made some amazing guacamole!!!
Angie and Aly are super close and I think it was hard for them to say goodbye, but she will be an awesome missionary!
Luke with Coach Kaden
Luke was in a Special Olympics Area Swim Meet. He won a gold for the 25 meter backstroke, a silver for the 25 meter freestyle and a silver for the 50 meter freestyle. You could tell he was proud-WAY TO GO LUKE!!!
I (LaNae) went to the BYU Women's Conference and met one of my old roommates there. Alyssa and I used to run together in the mornings. Good times! It was great to see her again after all these years. Women's Conference was fabulous-so many awesome speakers!!!
Waterford's Prom was at the Rice-Eccles Stadium this year.
Tim and LaNae went to the banquet just before.
It was May 4th so Leland, and a bunch of Leland's roommates, and David came over to watch Star Wars movies. Brian and Chloe came over to watch Luke while we went to the banquet.
LaNae went to the temple on Friday night, and Tim went on Saturday morning.
Tim and Luke went on a couple of fun bike rides on the tandem.
We finally finished the jigsaw puzzel we got for Christmas!!!
Luke's concoction of chicken, soy sauce, vinegar, honey, sesame oil...
We went to Stake Conference (Saturday night session) and sat in the Relief Society room with Luke (who yells). he was yelling "macaroni and cheese" and so Tim helped him draw this picture on the ipad...
The grandkids came over
We went on some lovely walks
