Selling the van, Family comes over, Amy leaves the MTC...
Brian and Chloe come over every other Sunday for dinner and they have been helping with organizing our pictures, mostly from when the kids were younger before digital pictures were the norm. This is no small feat! We are separating them by individual child first, putting them in binders with clear plastic sheet protectors onto card stock using double sided tape. Chloe has been an inspiration for this huge project (her mother did it ). sure appreciate the help!
Cute May has been taking dance classes and she loves to show us what she has learned. We are looking forward to attending her first recital coming up next month!
Tim and Leland have a tradition of watching the Apple Events together and this year Tim went to Leland's apartment in Provo to watch it. They enjoyed it!
David came over for Sunday dinner
Tim and Luke rode the train to Provo and back. Luke loves riding the frontrunner...
We got to sneak away on a Wednesday and go to Tsunami restaurant where Rick makes delicious sushi. We picked some fun new ones to try and he made it for us right there on the spot.
It was delicious! What a treat!
Mom continues to have good days and bad days. My siblings, their spouses and the grandkids take turns caring for her 24/7 and I try to call as often as I can. I think the socialization keeps her going. She has always bee there to give wisdom and counsel. Love her!
The grandkids came over!
Rick and Shauna's family went to boise to see Grandma Shaffer who is 102 years old. She got to hold Rachel's baby (her great-great grandchild!
Amy met Leland's mission president at the MTC. We got a message from her mission president in St. Petersburg that she arrived safely.
We put the car up for sale and got an immediate offer from someone in New York. He sent us a "check" for $6000 which was more than we were asking. We got talking about it and realized it was fraud and so Tim told "Mark" that the van was not for sale! Kind of creepy!
Totally fake, I looked up the return address on the envelope on google maps and it was a very abandoned and run down apartment complex!
LaNae made some Easter cookies for when Brian and Chloe came over, celebrating the fact that they are having a BOY in July!!! So excited, can't wait!!!
Spring Break!
What a difference a few years makes!!!
