FHE at Tibble Fork Reservoir, Amy gets her mission call, General Conference...

The leaves are at their peak in beauty right now, so for Family Home Evening, we took a drive up to Tibble Fork Reservoir...

 Amy and her roommates drove down from BYU IDAHO for the opening of Amy's mission call

Amy called the night before asking about decorations and refreshments and indeed, there was a large turnout for the opening.  It was fun to have so many family and friends supporting her!

Her call came electronically.  

She will be serving in St. Petersburg, Russia and she enters the MTC on Luke's birthday!!!

General Conference was amazing as usual.  A big announcement was made that the meeting schedule will be changed from 3 to 2 hours and we will be having gospel discussion opportunities at home on the Sabbath.  That will be terrific.  

And 12 new temples were announced!
