FHE Hike and Snow Cones, Tim in Cincinnati, Watching the Choate kids while Mindy and Eric are on Trek... and FATHER'S DAY!!!

Tim was in Cincinnati this week so for Family Home Evening, Amy, Luke and I went on a hike up American Fork Canyon to the Pine Hollow Trail.  Luke was not one bit happy about the hiking part...

So, we stopped for snow cones after!
Luke got coconut flavor-yum and Amy and I got coconut with a little cream added-yum!

Eric and Mindy went on Trek this week, so we watched the kids for a few days.

Chloe worked on art projects with them and Amy took them swimming one day

We took them with us this year to the Just for Kids .5 K Race!

Everyone ran a good race!  Willy from UVU was there.  It was so fun!  Afterwards, we headed over to Chick-fil-A

Meanwhile, in Cincinnati, Tim headed over to a book store and found one of his books on the shelf!  He stayed in the same museum/hotel as last year which features lots of modern art.  There is a nose, ear, and belly button tile in the shower and these random penguins everywhere...

Luke, Amy and I headed to Salt Lake for the Annual chalk arts Festival at the Gateway. The chalk art never disappoints and there were several fabulous pieces as usual...

Can you believe this is painted with chalk?  AMAZING!!!

Tim flew home the day after Father's Day and we celebrated by going out to dinner at Kyoto for Japanese cuisine! The atmosphere was fantastic and the food was delicious!

For Father's Day, I had Brian make Tim this end table and got him a plant to add a little nature to his sleep!  We had a short rest and then it was off to China for two weeks for Tim!
