Girl's Camp, rooster, and Brian's coming home!

Amy went to Girl's Camp this week.  The night before she left, Mindy had her and Brielle over to do their nails ;)
She used a special gel and had it set under a light.  It worked!  Her nails still look lovely even after a week of Girl's Camp!

We realized this week that one of the cute little chicks I got for mother's day is actually a rooster.  We noticed this when he started cocka-doodle-doo-ing at 4:30 am.  We aren't zoned for roosters, so we decided to put an add on KSL for a free rooster.  While we were on KSL, we saw there was a place that takes in roosters so we gave them a call and sure enough, they said to bring the rooster right over.  The place is located on Geneva Rd. in Orem. We took the rooster down and dropped him off.  See business card...

On Saturday Tim and I went to the temple.  There was a neat spirit there.

Amy, Luke and I went to Bountiful to the Herrmann's pool.  I caught up with Natosha and Luke swam for two hours in the deep end and Amy visited with Katrina about old times at ASIJ.  They have two new zip lines and Luke had a ball riding them a couple of times.

The best news of all (for us) is that we got Brian's itinerary for coming home.  He will fly to the John F. Kennedy airport in New York.  He will arrive in Salt Lake at 11:03 pm on August 25th. We can't wait to see him!

His Mission President wrote the kindest hand written note and said he was a top missionary and he wishes that all missionaries could be as he is and he can't wait to see what he will do in the future. It was pure joy to read!
